「AI教父」輝達（NVIDIA）執行長黃仁勳訪台造成旋風，傳出熱愛台灣的他將在台設廠，讓人興奮不已，到底NVIDIA工程師的待遇如何？一名在美國NVIDIA上班的工程師透露，如果碩士畢業，有3到5年工作經驗，跳槽到NVIDIA，底薪可達20萬美元（約新台幣616萬元）。

知名YT直播主「保羅麥克風」7日邀請到在美國德州奧斯汀（Austin）NVIDIA擔任工程師的Rick上節目，Rick高中就到美國念書，華盛頓大學電機系畢業，目前在奧斯汀的NVIDIA上班，擔任GPU工程師，年資已經有4年多。

主持人Paul說他之前在美國德州儀器工作的時候，碩士畢業生底薪大約10萬美元上下（約新台幣308萬元），達標時另外加上20％的bonus；博士大約12到13萬美元（約新台幣400萬元），在德州可以過得很舒服，但沒有像北加20幾萬美元的行情。台中支票貼現

台中票貼根據levels.fyi網站顯示，NVIDIA硬體工程師IC1底薪（Base）是13.5萬美元（約新台幣416萬元），IC2是14.9萬美元（約新台幣459萬元），IC3是17.3萬美元（約新台幣533萬元），IC4是20.8萬美元（約新台幣641萬元）。

雖然每個地區的工資，會根據當地的市場機制判斷，但Rick說，NVIDIA的IC分級，大學畢業通常是IC1，碩士畢業或是大學畢業有一兩年工作經驗是IC2，博士畢業是IC3，到IC4、5、6都是資深工程師。NVIDIA這幾年的公司政策，畢業生也會有股票。

Paul追問，如果碩士畢業，有3到5年工作經驗，跳槽到NVIDIA，底薪有可能達到20萬美元嗎？Rick說在加州或許有機會可以到，雖然他沒有在節目上公開他的薪資多少，但主持人私下聽到他透漏的數字後，立刻趴在桌上嘆氣：「都是念電機系，怎差那麼多？太傷感情了！」
